Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Taskidee ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada.

2. Description of Service

Taskidee is a family task management application that allows parents to create and manage daily routine task lists for their children. The Service is available as a free tier and a paid Premium subscription.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account. By registering, you confirm that you are a parent or legal guardian of the children whose profiles you create on the Service.

4. Free and Premium Plans

The free plan allows you to manage one child's daily tasks with 7-day recap history. The Premium plan, billed monthly or annually, unlocks unlimited children, full recap history, and additional features. Plan details and pricing are available on the upgrade page.

All content, features, and functionality of Taskidee — including but not limited to the design, logo, text, and code — are owned by Taskidee and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

8. Data and Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service at any time.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Ontario law, Taskidee shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

11. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. Upon deletion, all your data is permanently removed and any active subscription is cancelled immediately. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
